About these terms
This website, fofdrivingschool.co.uk, is run by FOF Driving School Manchester (run by Awaiting confirmation: the instructor's full name as a sole trader). You can contact us by email at fofabass@yahoo.com or phone 07939 737132.
These terms apply when you use the website or an account on it. When you book lessons, our Lesson terms and Booking, cancellation and refund policy also apply. How we use your information is explained in our Privacy policy.
Using the website
You're welcome to use the website to find out about our lessons, contact us, book and manage lessons, and follow your progress. Please don't:
- use it for anything unlawful, or to harass, mislead or impersonate anyone;
- try to access accounts or information that aren't yours, or interfere with how the website works;
- make bookings or enquiries you don't intend to keep, or use automated tools to make them;
- upload or send anything harmful, offensive or that infringes someone else's rights.
We may suspend or close an account that's used in breach of these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Your account
Please give accurate details and keep them up to date, especially your mobile number and pickup address, so we can reach you and find you.
Keep your password private and don't share your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. Parents and guardians must use their own accounts, never the pupil's.
Enquiries and booking requests
Sending an enquiry doesn't book a lesson. We'll reply using the contact details you give.
When you book online, some bookings are confirmed straight away and others are sent to your instructor as a request. A request isn't a booking until your instructor accepts it and you receive a confirmation email. If a card payment is needed, the booking is only confirmed once the payment succeeds.
The full details are in our Booking, cancellation and refund policy.
Prices and information on the website
We work to keep prices, lesson descriptions, service areas and available times accurate and up to date. Available times change as people book. If we've made an obvious mistake, for example in a price, we'll contact you before going ahead, and you won't be charged an incorrect amount without your agreement.
General guidance on the website, such as learning tips, is for information only and isn't a substitute for lessons with a qualified instructor.
Our content
The text, images, logo and design of this website belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. You can view and print pages for your own use. Please don't copy or reuse them for any other purpose without our permission.
Other websites and services
The website links to, or uses, services run by others, such as maps and government websites. We don't control those services and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Availability and technical problems
We aim to keep the website available and working properly, but occasionally it may be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems outside our control. If something goes wrong with a booking or payment, please contact us and we'll put it right. If you can't use the website, you can always book or change lessons by phone or email.
Our responsibility
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. The version on this page applies from the date it's published. If a change significantly affects how you use your account, we'll tell you by email beforehand.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts and rely on the mandatory protections of your local law.
If you have a concern, please use our Complaints procedure first so we can try to resolve it.
